"I purchased Blue I at an exhibition Marianne held several years ago. Having seen the painting prior to the event I was taken with the bold use of blue's and red. It is stunning and often a talking point about what it depicts. Everyone has their own view but I see something that changes with light and mood. It's always hard to define why someone likes a picture but with BLUE I it enlivens the senses and is impossible to walk passed without at least glancing and getting a visual buzz from the art.”
